Life Of Qigong

Qigong is a way of living

In 2018 I was at the rock bottom, weak, sick with kidney stones and facing spiritual breakdown. That is when I met my teacher, who kindly offered to guide me through the difficulties I was facing. He told me that we each have a capacity to heal ourselves, words that seemed strange to me at the time as I was doing everything I could and was only deteriorating further.

He taught me fundamental qigong exercises and I vouched to practice it consistently. With qigong breath I felt instant improvement of my symptoms, my body was starting to feel better. I saw that I alone have the greatest power to influence the vehicle I’m in, my body. To be able to heal, I wanted to learn more about my body, my mind, consciousness and be more aware of my own subconscious forces that were draining my energy.

Daily meditations and practice is what got me to experience a healthy body and calm mind that I never knew before in this life. Qigong saved me, as I was able to remember the instructions in the most difficult moments and make the right choice. That is why I decided it is time to share my knowledge of Qigong with those who are called to follow this path. This method works simply because it has been tried and lived by the lineage that holds it.

Qigong for me is not only about performing physical exercises, even though they play a significant role. It is a way of living, yielding to the way things are, people, situations and even my own self. By accepting who I am I can be at peace with everything around me. Learning how to listen to energy and looking past appearances of the 3rd dimension bring me to an alignment of a great magnitude and expand my life experiences. Whether it’s cooking a meal, tending to bonsai trees, painting or simply walking, the practice is always with me. It makes my life dignified, satisfying and deep, in every single moment.

I am thankful for my teacher, who dedicated his life to Tai Chi and Qigong practice as well as his teacher and the teachers before them. There are many paths in life, this one is the one I was called to walk. It is marked by the life experiences of people who lived and continue living it.

The nature of study is such that students are cared for by the teacher and knowledge is only passed when the student is ready for it. If you feel called towards it, please email me with inquiries and questions.
