Nurture Your Inner Artist Experience

How to describe something that is new, innovative and wasn't explored before? The best I can do is to share my own experience with this guided meditation. When this healing meditation with art came to me, I wrote it in one sitting and as soon as I finished, I was guided to create an offering for the community at the KW Yurt. This offering got sold out instantly, and the individuals who participated, experienced a significant depth in their process. After the guided meditation, they expressed themselves with the medium of clay - you can see some of their creations on the photographs above.

Since then, I have recorded the meditation to be able to use it by anyone at any place and tested it out on myself. Here is a video of my process:

I was genuinely surprised by how deeply transformative this was for me, and how much healing has happened as a result of the image I drew. Over the course of days passing, I felt the subtle changes in my thought processes around the areas that needed healing, and was able to allow myself to be a person I was in a non-judgmental way. I looked at myself in wonder and saw myself as a young child again, playing and exploring in life rather than having plans and agendas. This opened me up to a free flow of energy, spontaneous creativity spurs followed by relaxed rest. I even allowed myself to feel the melancholy, which is a natural part of my creative process and usually causes me to worry that something is "off" or "wrong". Instead, I could just observe myself going through the process and gain incredible appreciation of myself, as a human being.

My main message received in the process was: "Just let me be"- my young artist was sharing how much she loves to explore the world around her in her own rhythm, in her own way. This transferred to all areas of my life, but especially to the creation of Pure Reflections as I was finally able to give myself permission to bring forward the offerings that my being carries, as gifts. In the past I judged myself not being competent enough and always trusting in others more then in myself, while now I feel that I gave myself permission to trust my own process.

I also had an opportunity to offer this in person to JoAna, who is an amazing artist. The session took place in my garden with using clay, and here she shares her experience to encourage others to try it:

"I had the opportunity to enjoy this beautiful Healing with clay class, run by Pure Reflections.

Izabela Lizon is a great teacher and healer, her garden is full of magic and bonsai. I felt that I was in a magical, wonderful place full of peace and joy.

Thank you Izabela!"
